ADTEK strives to maintain a standard of excellence in providing client satisfaction and advocating on behalf of our clients' needs.

ADTEK is known for award-winning civil and structural designs on a variety of project types:

  • The Langston Recreation Facility for the Arlington County School received accolades in a feature article in Environmental Design and Construction Magazine's May Web edition. The project was submitted under the LEED v2.0 (with v2.1 templates), and it earned 35 points out of a total of 69 possible. The building was certified as silver in September 2003.
  • The Worman Mill Park Place Condominiums received the Best of Frederick 2000 Award. ADTEK provided structural engineering services for this design/build project, which included three new 100,000-square-foot, five-story condominium buildings.
  • The West Centreville Fire Station received an award from Fairfax County's Exceptional Design Awards Program in 1997. ADTEK provided design-engineering services for this new 12,000-square-foot facility.
  • The Freedom Aquatic Center received the 1999 Steel Joist Institute's National First Place Award for Design Excellence in Structural Engineering. ADTEK provide design-engineering services for this 110,000-square-foot new recreation center at the Prince William Institute, a multi-jurisdictional venture adjacent to George Mason University.
